A U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas issued a preliminary injunction against enforcement of the Corporate Transparency Act (CTA), meaning affected entities will not need to file reports by January 1, 2025.
 
The injunction is a win for the ADA’s advocacy in delaying enforcement of reporting requirements. The ADA will continue to work with Congress, its small business D.C. partners and the new administration to look for a permanent solution.
